Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2022 – (fully funded)
Finally, the Islamic Development Bank scholarship, one of the largest sponsored scholarships for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral studies, post-doctoral research programs, and vocational training in all disciplines of study, is now open for applications.
The scholarship covers all costs associated with attending some of the world’s most prominent universities, including the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge, as well as universities in Turkey, Malaysia, and other countries. This scholarship is open to both members of the Islamic Development Bank and non-members from Islamic societies around the world.
About the scholarship:
The Islamic Development Bank has established this award to encourage the transfer of technology and expertise between member states and Muslim communities in non-member countries.
The Islamic Development Bank also wants its students to take the lead in helping their communities and countries flourish. To put it another way, the Islamic Development Bank aspires to develop decent citizens and professionals.

Eligibility criteria for Undergraduate Program:
- The eligible candidates should complete senior secondary education (or the equivalent of approximately 12 years of education) with good grades in major subjects.
- Not in receipt of any other scholarship; and
- Be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

Eligibility criteria For Master Program:
- Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing;
- Preferably have work and/or research experience.
- Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program stating it is scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
- Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.
Eligibility criteria For Ph.D. Study:
- Have Master’s degree in one of the fields of study of the program.
- Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing;
- Preferably have work and/or research experience.
- Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program stating it is scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
- Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.
Eligibility criteria For Post-doctoral Research:
- Have PhD degree in one of approved fields of the program.
- Have minimum (“Very Good”) academic standing.
- Have not less than two (2) years of experience in the field of research.
- Must have a record of publications/research in the same field.
- Have a research proposal in one of the fields of study of the program stating its scientific and development relevance to the community / country.
- Be medically fit and be willing to undergo medical tests after selection.
